Why is John Z jumping for joy?

Big air John Z., originally uploaded by ocean rodeo.

The new Ocean Rodeo Coldfire hood boots and gloves are now in stock. With minimal surf today, John Z. and Kevin M. (OR sales guru's) found a nice 30 foot high dock to "get some air" . Now that's commitment from the sales team!

Jeremie Tronet..Ven A Kite Reality TV Star

That's right folks..."Reality TV Star". Just when you thought Jeremie had enough on his plate with all his kiting, fishing, playboying and all around laying on the beach, he has now entered the ranks of reality TV star. Following the likes of Richard Hatch, Omarosa Stallworth and Clay Aitken who so boldly blazed the trail before him, Jeremie has joined 5 other cast members on a Venezuelan kiteboarding reality TV show. There is however one big difference...unlike his aforementioned predecessors...Jeremie actually has talent.

You can follow the day to day grind of six world travelling kitboarders who have come together to ply their trade on the tropical island of Los Roques, Venezuela. These six strangers have more than just each other to contend with as temperatures soar into the low 30's, the water begins to resemble a bath and the beer is always cold. Sounds like they may have bitten off more than they can chew...and I haven't even mentioned the soft white sand and half naked hard bodies everywhere. Along the way, personalities will clash and issues ranging from broken spectra line to blown foot straps will emerge. Can these six easy going, very similar personalities end up as 6 friends? Get ready to find out.

You can join Jeremie, Pile, Kari, Boca, Angela and Coralie every week on Venezuela's very own Venakite.com. So tune in and support our own Ocean Rodeo International Team Rider Jeremie Tronet as he navigates wind, water, waves and the social mine field that is Ven A Kite.
