By placing my hands at the center of the bar I did not over control the kite and was able to complete many kite drills. Working on the relaunching un-assisted. Can't wait to get it out in some steady 20 knot winds to really get a solid feel.</p>      ]]></content>

Took the trusty Mako for an all round session of freestyle and picking off the odd wave which wrapped around - though mostly they were uncomfortably close to the rocks and cliff, so had to let them go. Got some nice air and a proper spanking from a kite-loop gone wrong.</p>      ]]></content>

Thankfully, I got straight out back whilst others struggled in the lighter winds. Had to move outside steering lines to full extension do to continued stalling when fully sheeted in. Still need to work on sheeting due to no trim on the trainer. I continued to back stall kite and had to sheet out multiple times inorder to keep kite flying. Got a good 100 meter down wind ride on the land board when wind picked up to approximate 20 kts and I was working the kite.</p>      ]]></content>

Played on the inshore for a while picking off waist high waves, when I spotted big sets coming in right out back.  Took a few aborted tacks before I got through to the outside - wouldn't have managed that on the surfboard, I'd have got chewed up and spat out.  Picked off a couple of 1.5x overhead waves before I bottled it, as I had to keep looping the kite to keep power in it.  Short lived runs, but a bit of a rush.</p>      ]]></content>
