Hi, Can someone please tell me the difference between the 06 zen and 08? I think the 06 looks better than the 07 and I found a 06 zen brand new for sale. I was thinking of getting the 08 ZEN but for 1,050 AUS its a little expensive.

Sorry for this but there is no comparison really. The 2008 (129*39) is so much better. The board is smoother through chop, has way more pop and landings are so much easier. The Zen 08 is totally the sh*t for freestyle/wakestyle.

I agree with Wouter. That being said, the only difference between an 06 and an 07 Zen is the top sheet. 08 was the big jump to X Torsion Technology and a the wooden Shock Core.

Well ive been shopping around and found that windance.com deliver to Australia and total price is $758, which is much more resonable than paying $1080 plus shipping, if I brought one here. I Only found one ocean rodeo board dealer in aus.

Whats the difference between the Wide (43cm) and the Norm (37cm) Is the wide more for a one all round board, better for those lighter days? Im 88kg just wonder if the wide would be better?

I would go for the 135 wide or the 129*39. A wider platform is easier to land and gives you more low-end.

I’m super impressed with how easy the 129 goes up wind (and loads, and pops, lands, and generally rips).  I thought it would be too small, but the width adds a lot to the ride.  Anyways at 182 lbs on an 8m Rise I was up and riding with similarly sized guys on the spleene 138 rip (and they had 9m rebels).  I haven’t tried the 135 yet, maybe later this summer as one of the other guys picked one up.
