Guys,

Posted somewhere else too but check this short video of me having the time of my life on the mako wide 150 and the new rise too.

Loved every second, with this board there is no need for a surfboard in your life.

Get one!

Nice one Ben,

Makes waiting for my 140 mako even harder though.

Cheers

Cheers man,

Not wanting to mess up your mindset but when using the 150/140 back to back in those conditions I preferred the bigger board as it has a bit more float off the wave.

I always ended back on the 150 and Hen on the 140, its surprising just how small that big board seems, weird huh!
When you look at the video, look how much of its front is actually out of the water when riding.

I dont know if OR discovered this style by fluke or what but they made a really nice board.

I totally agree with you on the surf capabilities of the Mako 150 Wide. After a few surf sessions on it in surf ranging from 3’-8’ I sold my dedicated kite surf board. The Mako was so versatile that I don’t need anything else, plus I don’t worry about jumping with it! Also, it’s so nice not to have to switch your feet! I’ve now got an entire season on it and I’m totally stoked with it here in the Gorge riding swells of any size. You can’t go wrong with this board!
