I was wondering what the final take is/was on the Mako Pro? That was the chopped down version of the Mako 150 X 34 “Classic”. It must have been the shortest production run in OR’s history. One year and then discontinued.
What is the consensus on the Mako Pro?
Core XR3 12M
Rise XPD 9M
does the same as the 150 classic but for lighter weight riders The 140 wide seems to have stolen the thunder which is a shame as the 134 was a good board in its own right. I think the problem is that short boards are meant to give loads of pop and the 134 is way better at carving like its big brother
I made myself a custom version 132x35, otherwise the same as you would chop down the Mako classic. It is the best board I heve ever used. All great charcteristics of the mako in smaller package. I never did have the opurtunity to try the small mako pro though.
