I’m stoked to provide with your first look at our 2010 Mako line up! We’ve kept the highly successful Mako Freeride 140 and 150 models, and added two great new additions!
At the request of our loyal Crew following, I welcome you to the all-new Mako ” Mini ” and the Mako King. The Mini is for all of you jonesing for the Mako ride in a smaller, nimbler package, and the King…..well, it just may be the board everyone wants in their quiver.
In twin tip mode, the King works very well as a light wind board and goes upwind as well as your average 6’ directional. It feels very similar to the current 150 Wide, but of course requires more rail pressure to rip turns. In high wind you can rig 1-2 kites smaller.
The mutant set up ROCKS. Excellent performance in both light and heavy air (this will be my go-to board with a 4m Rise in 30+). Very fluid, carvy and smooth, yet you can slash turns as hard as you want. For the beginner/intermediate, this King will accelerate your learning curve in the surf/big swell like not other…....and for the expert jonesing for the right mix between a sick surfboard and a killer twin tip, it knows no limits. It even rides and jumps well backwards!

Wow!! Looking good. I like the classic look. How about a limited woody series?
The new gear sure is fun to see! I’m not sure if I prefer the grafix on these boards than the 09 models, but they will probably stick out better in the water being white! I’m wondering if the footpads/straps changed any from 09 to 10. I hope i’ll be able to try out the Mako King soon!
Really nice boards! Congrats guys!
awesome i really really like the graphics - old school gone new - wicked
I love to Kiteboard
Can’t wait to try the Mini Mako and the Mako King

Evan out of curiosity will the Zens have a similar look for the graphics? I like the look of the mako graphics
I love to Kiteboard
I know its directional, therefore bigger, but is the King going to be available in different sizes: Question 1. QUESTION2 MORE IMPORTANT TO ME: Like Craig asked you in an earlier post, Does the Mako King have a different hull than the other makos?
Have fun out there!
When will the Mako King be available?
Any changes on the 140 x 40, apart from graphics?
A mate preferred the 2010 model over the 09, so I reckon there are subtle differences?
