Session harness, minimizing interference with grabs?

I have an original session harness that I like for crusing and long sessions, but I suspect that I don’t have it adjusted right for minimizing interference with lifting my legs up all the way up for grabs. Are there any hints for adjusting to do this (leg straps tight or loose, harness high on the waist or not, etc.) to me it seems that the front lower edges of the harness hit the leg straps as I raise my legs.

Is the Session II designed to be better at this?
