Rise UP!
UPDATED WEEKELY OCEAN RODEO REFLECTS ON THE WEEK OF WORK, WHAT LIES AHEAD AND HOW TO CHANGE THE WORLD ONE RIDER AT A TIME.
I drew the short straw and ended up on camera duty today, while Erik and Ross made the most of a shifty (sh#*y) 10" NW swell. The crew was stoked to be toasty in the pyro surf dry as temp was holding at 0 C with driving snow for most of the day.
A few seconds after taking this shot I was picked off and rolled.....end result,....my camera housing was ripped away,...gone in the white water! (there goes 4 k !).
After a minute of panic, Erik recoverd the unit on the inside and paddled it back out by gripping the housing in his teeth,....THANKS ERIK!
Erik and I are heading out agian today chasing a cleaner swell.
